Lake Worth

Lake Worth

Lake Worth takes its name from the surrounding Lake Worth Lagoon. And just like other Palm Beach County communities, Lake Worth is a tropical haven.

The Lake Worth Lagoon itself is unbelievably beautiful. It stretches 20 miles long and has nearby parks, bike paths, and marinas. The two artificial inlets of the lagoon combine fresh and saltwater, creating the perfect place for wading birds and over 200 fish species.

A newly constructed fishing pier allows beginner and expert anglers to seek out rich marine life.

If you love playing golf, you don't have to go travel far. There are scenic golf courses right along the Intracoastal Waterway.

As part of Palm Beach County, it's no surprise that Lake Worth is a beach haven.

Tourists and locals alike flock to Lake Worth Beach because of its soft white sand and huge beach. High waves can occur at certain times of the year, making Lake Worth Beach a surfing haven too!

Since it is conveniently close to downtown, you can grab a quick bite after spending all morning at the beach. There are many restaurants to choose from. You can sit down and have a proper lunch or enjoy your meal right on the sand.

Dining options are not the only thing you'll see downtown because art galleries and antique stores abound! The Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. building, which is the headquarters of Palm Beach County's Cultural Council, is also in Lake Worth downtown.
